How many careers allow you to get hands on experience in perfecting your skills and techniques before releasing you out into the real world? Definitely not enough! This sounded fantastic like a fantastic opportunity. I found an accredited school that was located less than twenty minutes from my house. They offered massage therapy classes year round too, so I didn’t have to wait for a new semester to begin school, I was able to start in three weeks.

I applied for financial aid and received a generous grant to help me with my tuition. It seemed as if the stars had aligned and I was walking down the path towards my calling in life.  After I started taking my massage therapy classes I only had one more question left…Why hadn’t I thought of this sooner?
